Is there any charge for getting an estimate?
No. All our quotes and estimates are completely free.
Which locations or regions do you cover?
We service Cape Town, Elands Bay, Worcester, Villiersdorp, and Struisbaai.
What is the procedure for obtaining a quote?
Fill out our online quote form or simply send us the width and height measurements or a photo of your opening for a preliminary quote. If the price suits you, we will visit your site to take precise final measurements before manufacturing.
How do I qualify for Free installation?
If you reside within 50km’s from our factory, installation is included.
Products & Material
How do trellis gates differ from welded security gates?
Trellis gates feature top and bottom tracks and slide smoothly to the side. Welded security gates operate on hinges and swing open like a standard door.
Which material types and surface finishes are available?
We use premium steel tubing and pipe. Every product is hot-dip galvanised after manufacturing to provide maximum, long-lasting rust protection.
Is it possible to add motorisation or automation to the gates?
Yes. We can fully integrate your gates with gate motors, electric locks, and magnetic locks (maglocks).
Are you able to build gates to custom dimensions?
Yes. All our gates are custom-manufactured to fit your exact specifications.
What sets Clearvu fencing apart from traditional palisade options?
Clearvu is a high-security, tightly welded wire mesh barrier available in high-density, medium-density, and low-density options. Palisade fencing consists of cold-formed 2mm steel pales available in spearhead or split spearhead styles.
Do you offer window burglar proofing installation?
Yes. We install trellis gates, fixed non-locking trellis fixtures, see-through clear bars, and custom interior or exterior steel window bars in any design.
Installation & Timing
What is the typical timeframe between placing an order and fitting the product?
Our standard turnaround time is 15 working days from order confirmation to installation.
How many hours or days does the fitting process usually take?
The installation duration depends entirely on the size of your order and the total number of items.
Are there any site preparations I should complete prior to your arrival?
Yes. Please ensure that all reveal plastering and final floor coverings are fully completed before our team arrives.
Is the fitting handled by your in-house team or contracted out?
All installations are carried out by our skilled, in-house team to guarantee quality workmanship. We do not use sub-contractors.

Is there any charge for getting an estimate?
No. All our quotes and estimates are completely free.
What are the general cost expectations for a security gate?
- Our starting rates (inclusive of VAT) are:
- Welded swing gates: From R2,048 per square metre.
- Window bars: From R1,034 per square metre.
Is an upfront deposit necessary to proceed?
Yes. A 60% deposit is required to confirm your order and begin production.
Which payment modes do you accept?
We accept EFT, cash, or card payments. Please note that card payments can only be processed at our factory.
